Nothing tells a great story like an awe-inspiring video!

Broadcast Quality Productions was founded by photographer/editor Rawn Hairston in Los Angeles, California, and was relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1994.

Rawn is a professional video journalist who began his career at "Action News" WRET-TV (now WCNC-TV), then a Ted Turner experimental fast-paced news operation in Charlotte, N.C. that became the forerunner to CNN. His experience at Action News covering breaking stories, documentaries, features and sports provided the basis for a solid background in news judgment, media multi-tasking, live satellite setups, quick turnaround, deadline editing and aerial videography.

Rawn's innovative photography skills and multi-talented assets took him around the country, where he worked at WMAR-TV Baltimore, KOVR-TV Sacramento and KABC-TV Los Angeles. During his tenure at KABC "Eyewitness News," Rawn's aggressive news style, creative approach and robust drive led to prime story assignments on the local level, and for ABC network news and entertainment. In addition, he won an Emmy Award for his Olympic broadcast coverage. After 7 years at KABC, Rawn ventured out on his own, fulfilling a dream of owning his own company originating video projects for clients who expect only the best in top quality video. His clients included national and international media companies BBC-TV, TV Asahi, Germany Filmwerks, and he has shot for Oprah’s The Big Give, ESPN Pardon the Interruption, U.S. Postal Service and BET Hip Hop Awards.

Rawn moved his company to Atlanta, GA in 1994, prior to the historic Atlanta Olympic Games. He became an instructor in the NBC Video Olympic Training Program, located at Clark Atlanta University. The program was designed to train college students in video production for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. In addition to regional sporting events, Broadcast Quality Productions began producing videos for business, education, legal services, as well as inspirational and consumer projects. BQP has also taken to the skies, providing high-quality aerial FAA-certified drone coverage.
